Editorial comments:	There was a further call between the two leaders, initiated this time by the President, on Monday 26 February around 1930Z. No record o this call has been found in British or US archives. A note in the Bush Library states that the call took place 1933-1947Z and was monitored by Philip Zelikow. Charles Powell minuted MT on 26 Feb 1990 referring to the idea of an early meeting between the two, as referred to at the end of the 24 Feb call, suggesting a weekend in Bermuda. He added "you might like to mention the idea to the President when he telephones you back about Chancellor Kohl's visit this weekend" (PREM19/3207 f109).
