CTF 317 = Admiral Fieldhouse, CINCFLEET; CTG 317.1 - Major General Moore (Commander Land Forces Falkland Islands - CLFFI or CLF); CTG 317.8 = Rear Admiral Woodward; CTG 317.0 = Commander Michael Clapp (COMAW); CTG 317.1.1 = Brigadier Julian Thompson (commanding 3 Commando Brigade),CTG 317.1.2 = Brigadier Tony Wilson (commanding 5 Brigade). CTF 317 also used on occasion by Land Deputy CINCFLEET = General Trant.
