Editorial comments: | The discussion is noted in a letter dated 19 May; listed by date when it took place. There is no reference in the minutes themselves. The discussion would appear to relate to Operation Plum Duff, the landing of an SAS team outside Rio Grande air base in southern Argentina from which were flown its Exocet carrying Super Etendard aircraft. See Ewen Southby-Tailyour Exocet Falklands (2014). All documents relating to the 37th meeting of OD(SA) may be read here The full file from which this item is taken can be seen here. This document is referred to in DEFE13/1496 at f9, but is missing from that file. |
