| Editorial comments: | Survival of the menu in MT's papers strongly suggests MT was present. PREM15/1267 contains more information about the lunch, but there is no definitive guest list unfortunately. A long list of possible guests includes W.H. Auden and David Hockney. Governor and Mrs Reagan signed the No.10 visitor book on arriving. |
