Falklands: ?FCO draft ("Draft Joint Press Statement: Falkland Islands") [statement for Carrington and Nott] [declassified Dec 2012]

Source unclear, but the opening paragraph of the statement bears close resemblance to the opening remarks made by Lord Carrington in the press conference he gave with John Nott at 1700 on 2 April, recorded in a diplomatic telegram sent to British Embassies by the FCO later that evening.
