EC: Renwick letter to Bullard ('Milan') ["account of atmospherics at and just before the European Council"] [declassified Nov 2016]
|Document type:||Declassified documents|
A long "informal record" of the Council also survives in FCO files, available here, as well as a telegram account of the Council by the UKREP to the EC, Michael Butler, which can be read here. Even so, the FCO felt itself poorly informed as to "how the unsatisfactory conclusion at Milan came to be reached" which Robin Renwick's letter was designed to remedy, apparently with success - see the last page of this document. Read other documents selected from this file. The full file from which this item is taken can be seen here - FCO30/8037.
