Wednesday 28th April 1982

Rose’s birthday - and I forgot

- visitors - No.10 stops [word ‘visitors’ unclear; perhaps reference to the official talks and lunch that day for the Prime Minister of Thailand, attended by HRH Princess Alexandra, 1200-1545]

Lunch with Frank Thomson, Anthony Harris (FT) at CPS - mostly about Falklands

- Harris now claims he had supported Gov budget in 1981.

Meeting at CPS on Mgt Takeovers

Note on Indexed Pensions - give ’em choice of opting out - but will be cancelled - Treasury view is make ’em all have them + pay for them.
