PM in Sunderland

Robin Ibbs etc. about employment study - the only way is to split it off from Rickard. He is a structuralist and is anxious not to talk about benefits effect etc.

[The ending of a very good week]

Fixed up for Adrian Smith to work on Minford’s model applied to Europe.

Ibbs pleased - but JV [John Vereker] worried that there will be no meeting of CPRS + No. 10

- but my main concern is to get the work done - seems as though we shall fight.
