EC: MT handwritten notes (EC relations with the US: trade) [possibly notes from European Council] [declassified 2012]

The provenance of these notes is uncertain. Based on their subject and position in the full file it is possible that they were taken by MT during the first session of the Brussels European Council of 28 June, when Mitterrand particularly spoke strongly about the US.

Alternatively they were made prior to or during the 1st July meeting of Cabinet that discussed US steel imports. The full file from which this item is taken can be seen here.
