The Western Mail coverage consists of three articles. The Daily Post has a slightly fuller account of some of her remarks. She said of the new-look Rhondda Valley: "It’s a complete regeneration and very exciting. It’s given a new way of life here, different from the days when so many people had to go into the mines because they was nothing else".
