That was there before you were in government, Prime Minister.

MT

A Conservative Government brought in Tyne Tees Television. It was a famous election battle, between the two parties. And we were told, “oh no no no, you can't do it” , and the whole of independent television, including Tyne Tees—the whole of local radio—was born under Conservative Government, including BBC. Now that it is one way of doing jobs—by saying, look, we have faith that if we get the framework of law right and take away some of the regulations and change them so that people with good ideas can in fact start them.
