Editorial comments: Available on CD-ROM only. Around 2100? MT and Chirac spoke to the press at the conclusion of their talks, which began at 1700. They broke for supper at 2100. The ITN Archive has some comments by MT perhaps made after the press conference: "We had a message from Monsieur Chirac expressing deep sympathy, not only for Enniskillen but also of course about the terrible accident we had at King’s Cross, which was rather different. The service at Enniskillen this morning was very deeply moving and I am very pleased I went".
