The ITN Archive has some comments by MT perhaps made after the press conference: "We had a message from Monsieur Chirac expressing deep sympathy, not only for Enniskillen but also of course about the terrible accident we had at King’s Cross, which was rather different. The service at Enniskillen this morning was very deeply moving and I am very pleased I went". |
