Remarks visiting Brighton (opening renal dialysis unit)

Document type: Speeches, interviews, etc.
Venue: Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton
Source:
Editorial comments: 1045-1205. BBC indexes record MT saying that opening the unit was "the least she could do" (given that the hospital had treated the wounded after the Brighton Bomb). She was filmed signing a kidney donor card. The Brighton Evening Argus has her comment as she did so: "I must admit I had a card some years ago but I lost it. Now, having seen some of the people who are waiting for transplants, I am filling in another one" (1 October 1986).
