I am writing to you in your capacity as President of the Anglo Polish Conservative Society.

Would you please remind all our Polish friends living in the United Kingdom of the vital importance of the General Election on 9th June.

The Conservative Party stands for:—

Strong Defence and Freedom from Oppression—by maintaining our own nuclear deterrent we are defending peace.

Honest Money—Conservatives have reduced the rate of inflation to 4%;—the lowest for 15 years.

Continued Protection of the retirement pension against rising prices.

Tackling the root causes of unemployment so as to lay the foundations for future prosperity and jobs.

More parental choice and influence in education and a continuing striving for higher standards.

The right to own your own home.

I hope that all who support these policies will also vote Conservative on the 9th of June.

Yours sincerely

Margaret Thatcher
