Editorial comments: Available on CD-ROM only. At 1800 MT arrived at the Glasgow Holiday Inn for a meeting with the Scottish CBI. She was met by demonstrators including Ron Brown, Labour MP for Leith, who lurched towards her as she walked towards the hotel and was seized and dragged away by police. He was charged with a breach of the peace and later fined 50 pounds. Tony Benn arrived shortly after MT had gone inside the hotel and gave a speech to the demonstrators.
