Remarks visiting Finchley (hard-hitting politics)

Document type: Speeches, interviews, etc.
Venue: Finchley Manor squash club, Finchley
Source:
Editorial comments: 1915-2015. The Finchley Times has an account (28 May 1981). MT made her standard squash court speech: "I’m often in the middle of a squash - but I don’t play squash. Squash has something in common with politics. You have to be on the ball. You have to be hard-hitting - and so am I. And thirdly you have to keep at it. You keep at it and I’ll keep at it and we’ll all get through together".
