The Prime Minister threw a party at Number Ten Downing Street for the cast of ANYONE FOR DENIS?—the farce centred on the private life of her husband. Earlier, Mr. and Mrs. Thatcher and their son, Mark, went around the corner to the Whitehall Theatre to see the show and to meet John Wells and Angela Thorne, who play Denis and Maggie on stage. We had a very enjoyable evening. It's a marvellous farce and I do think that the girl who played me, Angela Thorne, she's wonderful. She's absolutely terrific. She's obviously spent a tremendous time studying everything I do.

No, not quite right. Not at all right. But then they don't see as many tapes of Denis Thatcherhim as they do of me. No-one could get him right possibly. The real thing's so different and so much better.
