TRIBUTE TO MR. MAUDLING

Reggie Maudling brought to politics one of the most brilliant minds of his generation.

His amiability and deceptively languid temperament could not conceal his capacity for incisive analysis and lucid presentation.

He held many of the highest offices in the land and served in them with distinction. He gave a life-time of service to his Country and his Party.

We all mourn his tragic and premature death. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
