An official portrait of the Opposition leader Mrs. Thatcher, who is fifty today, was unveiled at a London gallery.
Mrs. Thatcher cast a critical eye on her image and said it was quite the nicest that had been painted of her.
She gave two 20 minute sittings for the oil painting which is by one of her constituents, Mr. Andre de Moller, a barrister.
