A lavish cheese and wine buffet prepared and served by girls of Friern Barnet County School was praised by Mrs. Thatcher and she also congratulated the school, its headmaster, Mr. Ken Franklin, staff and pupils on their recent scholastic achievement of 471 CSE certificates out of 479 entries".
