Miss Margaret Roberts
Prospective Conservative Candidate
As 1949 draws to a close, we stand on the threshold of not only another New Year, but of a new half-century. There have been great upheavals during the first 50 years of the 20th century, and as we begin the second 50, we may well wonder what they will bring forth. Whatever falls to our lot, may each of us play our part in the Grand Design with that unselfish courage which alone can make for happier human and world relationships in the years that are to be.
