Ambassador, Ladies and Gentlemen, just before I do the formalities, I would like to thank both the Spanish authorities for all the help they give us over the many problems which we have to solve and, as a visitor to Spain, I would like to say that we take for granted the Consular services which we have in many parts of this country.

Because we have so many visitors, we get rather a large number of problems, small in proportion to the visitors, but problems which have to be solved, some of them require a lot of sensitivity in the way they are tackled and we are very grateful for the skill and understanding of the staff in the way in which they discharge their duties.

As visitors, we know you are here and are immensely grateful for your services.

May I therefore pull this and see if it works.
