Editorial comments: Afternoon. See the Barnet Press, 19 July 1974. MT presented a rose bowl to Mrs. Sandy Sheldon, mother of Kim, the winning baby. "In a short speech Mrs. Thatcher thanked the doctors for all their hard work. There were only three doctors this year - normally there are seven - and it must have been a very difficult job for them to pick the winners. She also said that the baby show entries were the biggest ever and congratulated the show’s organisers Mrs. J. Levinson and Mrs. Betty Gibson and the helpers for making it such a success".
