Labour will run out of money—M.P.

A Forecast that the present Labour Government would go the same way as other Labour Governments and run out of money was made by Mrs. Margaret Thatcher, M.P., for Finchley, yesterday.

Speaking at a Conservative women's rally at Clifford Chambers, near Stratford-upon-Avon, Mrs. Thatcher said: “They have run out of the nation's money and they have almost run out of credit.”

She believed that unless the Conservatives were returned in reasonable time “this Government will have done more long-term damage to Britain than any other Government in its history.”

The rally was organised by the women's divisional advisory committee of Stratford and South Warwickshire Conservative Association.
